More Pasta Please!
I found this fabulous Broccoli and Shrimp Angel Hair Pasta recipe over at Recipe Rush and showed it to J. He said, "That sounds tasty, let's try it!". So yesterday, I gathered the ingredients and made it.
It is a very easy, very quick recipe. I am very happy about that alone because there are nights where I don't want to spend more than 30 minutes preparing, cooking and serving a meal. I love to cook but sometimes a girl is tired!
Taste Test by Two Kids (one 4-yr old and one 16-mon old) - Both of the kids LOVED it. They both scarfed it down and Sissy (4-yr old) asked (and ate!) for seconds! That will make any mom happy!
Taste Test by Two Adults - J was sick and had a stopped up nose, so his review is disqualified. He said it seemed to be good, but he couldn't taste anything, not even the Coke he had to drink with dinner. I liked it myself. It was pretty tasty.
When I make this next time, I will double the sauce portion and add more broccoli and bigger shrimp. We are a 'saucy' family and I know J loves more shrimp. In fact, he can't seem to get enough of shrimp.
This was a good recipe and even though my family prefers more sauce, it had good flavor just the way it was. I definitely will be back to try more of TheDomesticDiva's recipes!

Thank you so much for such a wonderfully written review. I'm glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed the pasta dish. This is a favorite among my son [who is 2] and I. My husband isn't a big pasta eater, other than spaghetti, so we make this for lunch ALL THE TIME!!! I suppose that is why I have such little sauce and few shrimp, supposed to be lighter for the middle of the day. But by all means, sauce it up!!!
You are most welcome! That makes more sense! We are having leftovers from the pasta last night for lunch today - I just know that J, Sissy, Bubba and I will finish it completely off. It is quite tasty!
What a great review! I often check out the Domestic Diva's recipes, too... but I'm not much of a cook, so I have yet to try one. My mouth just waters reading them!
