Doing My Virtual Walk - Are you?
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I am sure I did not have to type that line.
On October 6th, this Saturday, I am very pleased to announce that Jeanne from Design-Her Gals, will be joining me to talk about the Virtual Walk they are doing. This walk will benefit Stage IV Breast Cancer patients. I will release the press release for the show tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for it.
Since October is the month, I want to bring your attention to WhyMommy and why I have the little "Team WhyMommy" logo on this site. She was diagnosed with IBC - Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She has compiled a list of informative sites about IBC. She has also given her story. (I have posted that before but it is worth a second, third, or more, read.) I encourage you (and myself) DO YOUR MONTHLY BREAST EXAMS. Don't be a victim. Be a fighter. Be proactive. Be strong.
This week, I will be referring back to the Virtual Walk and Design-Her Gals. This month, I will try to do at least one post a week on breast cancer. If you, or someone you love, have a story about breast cancer, please share it. Breast cancer does not just affect a woman - it affects everyone she is in contact with. Breast cancer fighters do not just fight breast cancer. They give hope, encouragement, and most of all, they touch our hearts and souls.
